Engelhard Struck 5 troy oz .999 fine silver bars.
These are the most coveted of all the private label minted silver bars. These silver bullion bars were made in the 1970's and 80's. Highly sought after by investors and collectors because of the fame and reputation of the Engelhard Company and their strict quality standards, not to mention these are just so nice!
Unlike the 1 and 10 Troy Oz bars that are actually quite common, the 5 oz bars are fairly rare. Engelhard also made 3 oz bars, but I have never seen one in the wild. Please contact me if you have some to sell!
The bars in stock were purchased from someone who bought and put them away in the 1970's, and are still in the mint plastic! No scratches or dents on these! Some have minor tarnishing, to be expected on silver that has been stored and for at least 30+ years.
Only remaining stock still are in the mint plastic, but are split open. Bars are still in perfect physical condition (with some tarnish).
