The most coveted of all the private label minted silver bullion. Highly sought after by investors and collectors because of the fame and reputation of the Engelhard Company and their strict quality standards.
Currently have one extruded bar (like the picture) in the original Engelhard plastic sleeve (they usually perish and get discarded). Contains 100 Troy Ounces of .999+ Pure Silver. All are serial numbered.
Engelhard stopped making retail precious metals in the late 1980s, but 100 oz bars continued to be made up until the corporation was sold to BASF in 2006.
These bars could be 30 years old, and show signs of aging, including minor dents etc. Some tarnishing is apparent. Some still have the plastic sleeves they were shipped in, but these sleeves are not always available as they may have been lost or destroyed over the years.
