When the US Mint released the State Quarters series many people suddenly rediscovered the joys of coin collecting, and the Mint underestimated the demand. The 1999 sets sold out quickly and so for 2000 the Mint increased the number of sets- and did not meet sales expectations. So the Mint cut production for 2001- and promptly sold out.

This 2001 US Mint State Quarter Silver Proof Set is highly sought after.

Set comes in two acrylic holders, the first has the Sacagawea Dollar, Kennedy Half, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel and Lincoln Penny and the other holds the 3rd set of 5 state quarters (New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Kentucky).

The Kennedy Half, 5 Washington Quarters and the Roosevelt Dime are all 90% silver.

All coins are in beautiful proof condition. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and cardboard box. Acrylic holders in excellent condition, box is in Good shape.
