2000-P Library of Congress Bicentennial Commemorative Proof Silver Dollar, minted to commemorate the Bicentennial of the Library of Congress and the new Millennium. In original mint packaging, which includes acrylic coin holder, box and certificate of authenticity.

The obverse shows the Torch of Learning and an open book with "Library of Congress", "In God We Trust" and the dates 1800 and 2000. The reverse is the Thomas Jefferson Building dome, with United States of America, E Pluribus Unum and One Dollar surrounding the dome.

This proof $1 Dollar silver coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. It is made the same composition and size as the old (pre-1936) Silver Dollars- 90% silver, 10% copper, 38.5mm diameter and containing 0.7734 Troy oz of silver.
