This star shaped CombiBar by Valcambi Suisse is a unique product in an attractive booklet. The bar has tiny stars across it's surface and it is sealed in an acrylic holder. An assay certificate on the inside of the cover has the weight and fineness.
The rear of the star is scored with lines allowing it to be broken into 5 x 1 gram diamond shaped pieces, each marked with the weight and fineness.
These are great for your survival kit as the individual 1 gram pieces can be broken apart and used for barter. Pricing on a per ounce basis is comparable to an American Gold Eagle 1/10 oz, so just having the bars as a store of wealth is a viable option too.
