2017 American Palladium Eagle 1 Troz oz MS68
Product Description
The 2017 American Palladium Eagle $25 face value Brilliant Uncirculated coin contains 1 Troy oz 0.9995 fine palladium. Graded MS68 by PCGS.
It is the first US coin ever to be struck in palladium, and the first new American Eagle coin since the introduction of the Platinum Eagle in 1997.
The coin is struck in high relief, the obverse features a likeness of “Winged Liberty” from the “Mercury Dime” obverse by famed American coin designer and medallic artist Adolph A. Weinman.
The reverse design is also by Weinman, a version of his 1907 American Institute of Architects (AIA) Gold Medal reverse, which includes an eagle and a branch. In developing the coin, the United States Mint was able to use the original reverse plaster of the AIA gold medal.
Mintage is limited to only 15,000 coins, and they are expected to sell out very quickly. We only received a small allocation of these unique coins, and they will not last.
