Product Description

1966 Peru Half Libra gold coin containing 0.1177 troy oz gold in a .9167 (22 carat) alloy. Coin total weight is 3.994 grams.

The obverse has the Peruvian coat of arms, sun with rays above and sprigs to either side with the date below the arms and the inscription "REPUBLICA PERUANA LIMA Z.B.R." around the edge.

Reverse depicts the Sapa Inca- the King of Cuzco and the Emperor of the Incas wearing the mascapaicha (the crown of the Inca Empire) facing right, with "VERDAD I JUSTICIA" and "1/2 LIBRA" around the edge.

Coin is in Uncirculated condition.
