1986 Engelhard Gold Prospector Round, 1/10 Troy oz, lightly circulated, in airtite.

Like the highly prized silver rounds, this gold Engelhard round is made special by the fame and reputation of the Engelhard Company and their strict quality standards. Containing 0.10 troy oz of .9999 fine gold this round is extremely rare, as the market demand was for Swiss style gold bars, not gold rounds. Very few of these were struck, and are almost impossible to find.

Engelhard copied the design of their famed silver rounds, with a kneeling prospector panning for gold on the obverse, while the design on the reverse uses the eagle in flight used on silver prospectors after mid 1984.

Only one available, in good condition. Definitely has some light but visible scratches.
