Don't Tread on Me silver round containing 1 Troy oz of .999 fine silver.
On the obverse features the image of the coiled snake created by Benjamin Franklin for a political cartoon in 1754. It was released with the phrase “Join or Die” to encourage the American colonies to join together in the French and Indian War. It was later used on the Gadsden flag alongside the phrase “Don’t Tread on Me.”
The reverse design includes the phrases "The Price of Liberty" and “Eternal vigilance”. The American bald eagle stands ready to fight with arrows in a sheaf under its feet, but is hopeful for peace with the olive branch.
