These special coins are a limited mintage struck to commemorate the introduction of the Silver Maple 25 years ago.
Coins obverse feature Queen Elizabeth II, the denomination of Five Dollars and the year. Reverse has a Maple Leaf and the words "Canada" over the leaf and "Fine Silver 1 oz Argent Pur" under the leaf. The numbers 9999 are on either side.
