2009 US Mint Silver Proof Set containing all 18 Coins minted that year, with the Half Dollar, Quarters and Dimes all minted in 90% silver. This set contains 1.516 oz of pure silver.
After the State Quarters were completed in 2008 the US Mint issued special quarters for each U.S. Territory and the District of Columbia in 2009. This set contains the Silver Quarters proofs for Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands as well as the District of Columbia.
2009 was also the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birthday, this set includes the proof versions of the four pennies released during the year, each one commemorating milestones in the 16th President's life.
The set is rounded out with the 3rd year of Presidential $1 coins, commemorating Harrison, Tyler, Polk and Taylor.
The Set comes in four acrylic holders, the first has the Sacagawea Dollar, Kennedy Half, Roosevelt Dime and Jefferson Nickel, then one has all the Quarters, the third contains the 4 Presidential Dollars and the final one the Lincoln Pennies.
Comes in a cardboard box and certificate of authenticity. Acrylic holders are in excellent shape, cardboard box has some wear.
