2003 First Flight Centennial Silver Dollar Unc
2003-P First Flight Silver Dollar Uncirculated Commemorative. Struck to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first powered flight by Orville and Wilbur Wright at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on December 17th, 1903.
The obverse features a portrait of Wilbur and Orville, the reverse shows the Wright Flyer.
This Uncirculated $1 Dollar silver coin was struck at the Philadelphia Mint. It is made the same composition and size as the old (pre-1936) Silver Dollars- 90% silver, 10% copper, 38.5mm diameter and containing 0.7734 Troy oz of silver.
Includes all original U.S. Mint packing materials- acrylic coin holder, display box and certificate of authenticity.
