2001 U.S. Mint Proof State Quarters Set

When the US Mint released the State Quarters series many people suddenly rediscovered the joys of coin collecting, and the Mint underestimated the demand. The 1999 sets sold out quickly and so for 2000 the Mint increased the number of sets- and did not meet sales expectations. So the Mint cut production for 2001- and promptly sold out.

This item includes only the 2001 (3rd set) State Quarters (New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Kentucky). All are in beautiful proof condition.

Comes with Certificate of Authenticity and cardboard box. Acrylic holder in excellent condition, box is in good shape.
