This 1994 Commemorative Silver Dollar Proof honors the 200th anniversary of the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
The obverse features the Capitol Dome, and a rendering of the stained glass window from the Senate and House grand staircases on the reverse.
This proof $1 Dollar silver coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint. It is made the same composition and size as the old (pre-1936) Silver Dollars- 90% silver, 10% copper, 38.5mm diameter and containing 0.7734 Troy oz of silver.
Includes all original U.S. Mint packing materials- acrylic coin holder, display box and certificate of authenticity.
