1987 Australian Gold Nugget Proof Set

This is a limited edition proof set from the second year of the Australian Nugget gold series, and includes the 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz and 1/10 oz Nugget coins in .9999 pure gold (total of 1.85 Troy oz of Gold).

Set is absolutely gorgeous, all coins encased in acrylic holders and set in velvet inside a hardwood box.

Each coin has a representation of one of the famous nuggets found in Australian gold mines. The One Ounce coin features the 'Poseiden' nugget, the 1/2 oz 'Bobby Dazzler', 1/4 oz is 'Father's Day' and the 1/10 oz has 'Golden Aussie'.

Set includes original Australian Jarra hardwood display box and certificate of authenticity.
