1995 Washington Mint Silver Eagle Round Half Pound 8 Troy oz

Washington Mint has been making privately minted rounds since 1981. They are a little unusual in that someone thought a troy pound would confuse the public (a troy pound is 12 troy oz) so the "One pound" medallions they mint contain 16 troy oz, their "half pounds" are 8 troy oz and "quarter pound" means 4 ounces. As far as we know they are the only private minter that does this.
This medallion contains 8 troy oz ("one half pound") .999 fine silver minted as a proof.
Round is in like new condition, mirror like and still sealed in plastic. Comes in a foam and fabric lined box. Box is in very good condition. Picture is of a 1994 version, we currently only have one 1995 in stock.
