Very unusual silver rounds minted by Continental Coin (a private mint) and intended to capitalize on the Y2K scare by offering smaller, more easily negotiated silver rounds.
These rounds are .999 fine pure silver in a one quarter troy oz size. They are slightly smaller than a quarter, with a diameter of about 7/8".
The design features a copy of a walking Liberty as found on the Silver Eagle on the obverse, with "Liberty", "In God We Trust" and the year (2000) and on the reverse a large "Y2K" in the middle with "Quarter oz .999 silver" above and the "CC" logo between "Genuine" and "Value" underneath.
Condition is excellent, with bag marks (slight scratches and dings) but nice silver with minimal toning.
The store is closed for vacation from December 4th. Prices shown are for indication only, you cannot add items to your shopping cart.
