Commonwealth of the Bahama Islands $5 Sterling Silver Proof coin minted for the Government of the Bahamas by the Franklin Mint.

This beautiful proof coin is 42.12 grams in weight and struck in Sterling Silver (925 fine) containing 38.961 grams (1.2526 troy oz) pure silver.

Coin features Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse, with the inscription "Commonwealth of the Bahama Islands" around the circumference with "Elizabeth II" underneath. The reverse depicts the coat of arms of the Bahama Islands with the motto "Expulsis Piratis Restituta Commercia" (Pirates Expelled Commerce Restored).
