The Perth Mint in Australia started their Chinese Lunar Year series of silver proof bullion coins in 1999, in five popular sizes, 1/2 oz, 1 oz, 2 oz, 10 oz and kilo.

This gilded coin is a series 2 (staring in 2011) dated 2012, contains 1 troy oz .999 pure silver, commemorating the Year of the Dragon. It also has 24 kt gold layered over the dragon.

In spectacular proof-like condition, with protective acrylic holder and in original mint packaging with certificate of authenticity.
