2009 US Gold Double Eagle, $20 legal tender Ultra High Relief graded MS69 by PCGS (gold label).
This coin fulfills Augustus Saint-Gaudens' vision of an ultra high relief coin that could not be realized in 1907 with his legendary Double Eagle liberty design. The high relief dies were a problem from the beginning, and the 90% gold used in US gold coins was tougher to mint than the 24 carat (.9999 fine) gold used in the 2009 version.
Comes with a custom display box, and the original mint book (still sealed) with the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle story.
