1992 Canada Gold $100 Proof struck by the Royal Canadian Mint celebrating to celebrate the 350th Anniversary of the City of Montreal.

On May 17, 1642, three vessels arrived from France landing Maisonneuve and his men on an island in the St. Lawrence River. They called the island Ville-Marie which was renamed Montreal in the early 1700's.

This coin is 14 karat gold (58.33% gold) weighs 13.338 grams, containing 0.25 troy oz of gold and 0.179 troy oz of silver.

Comes in a presentation case, with Certificate of Authority. Coin is in an acrylic holder.
