1988 Swiss Shooting Thaler 100 Franc Platinum 1 Troy oz proof coin, containing .999 fine platinum.

This striking platinum coin was issued by Switzerland to commemorate the Swiss tradition of Shooting Festivals (Shooting Thaler). On the obverse is depicted the Swiss folk hero William Tell. The reverse features the shield of the Swiss Confederation over crossed rifles and surrounded by the shields of each of the Swiss Cantons.
