1984 Canada Gold $100 Proof Jacques Cartier Commemorative.

Struck by the Royal Canadian Mint, this 1984 coin commemorates Cartier's landing at Gaspé, Bonaventure in 1534.

The coin weighs 16.9655 grams, and contains 0.500 Troy oz of fine gold in a 22 karat (0.9167 fineness) alloy.

Originally came in acrylic holder, in presentation case and with Certificate of Authority. Coins currently in stock do NOT have the display case or certificate, just the acrylic holders.
