Product Description

The Royal Mint issued a number of different sets to commemorate the 1981 Royal Wedding between H.R.H. The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.

This set comprises a St George and Dragon Sovereign Proof (0.2354 Troy oz gold in a 22 kt alloy) and a One Crown Silver Proof with a special design commissioned for the Royal Wedding with Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse with Charles and Diana on the reverse. The Silver Proof is struck in Sterling Silver (.925 fine) and weighs 28.28 grams (net silver content 0.84 Troy oz).

The two coins are in original mint acrylic holders and set in a leather covered velvet presentation case from the Royal Mint. Coins are in excellent like new condition.
