1979 Cook Islands $100 Gold Tangaroa Proof Coin.

Obverse of coin features the bust of Queen Elizabeth II and the reverse has the Mask of Tangaroa, a Rarotongan fertility god.

In original mint packaging, coin mintage was only 3,367 made by Franklin Mint for the Cook Islands. Precious metal content is 9.6 grams of .900 fine gold (8.64 grams of gold, or 0.2778 Troy oz).

Coin is in beautiful condition.
