1976 Canada Gold $100 Uncirculated coin struck by the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 1976 Olympic Summer Games hosted by the City of Montreal.
This coin is 14 karat gold (58.33% gold) weighs 13.338 grams, containing 0.25 troy oz of gold. The Royal Canadian Mint made a confusing decision on the commemoratives for the 1976 Olympics, there is another coin, with the same design and face value, but containing 1/2 oz of gold in a 22 kt alloy. That coin is a proof strike, and has a smaller (25 mm) diameter.
Comes in original card from the mint with Certificate of Authority.
