1976 Belize $100 Gold Proof coin, struck at the Franklin Mint. Contains 3.105 grams (0.0998 troy oz) of pure gold in a .500 fine alloy.

This coin was issued to commemorate the Mayan civilization that existed in the area now known as Belize. Obverse depicts Mayan stone carvings, the reverse has the coat of arms of Belize, with the date, denomination and fineness inscribed.

Includes velvet box, certificate of authenticity and outer cardboard box. Original mintage was 11,000 proofs.
