1966 Special Mint Set packaged by the U.S. Mint.

The U.S. Mint stopped minting proof sets after 1964 for a few years, instead packing very fine Uncirculated sets for collectors. However demand was such that the government started proof production again in 1968 at the San Francisco Mint (which had been inactive for 13 years). This is why all proofs after that date are "S" marked, and with the exception of some coins from the early 1970s and the Susan B. Anthony dollars San Francisco does not mint circulating coins.

Coins are in Excellent condition, holder is also Excellent and cardboard box show some storage and handling marks.
