Product Description

1959 Mint Set in Capital holder. Starting in 1947 the Treasury Department began selling special sets of Uncirculated coins to the public. While these were not proofs, they were a better deal because they included coins from each of the mints.

This set includes Uncirculated coins from both the Philadelphia and Denver Mints, the Half, Quarter and Dime were struck in 90% silver.

Holder is showing some wear, but all coins are in Excellent Uncirculated condition.
