1955 U.S. Mint Proof Set (Philadelphia Mint).

This is a beautiful proof set in the original cardboard box from the mint. 1955 was the year the mint switched from sending the coins in individual bags inside a box to using a flat pack with the coins in one sheet. Both types were shipped this year, and the boxed sets like this command a slight premium. There is a very attractive champagne toning on the Franklin Half. No toning on the other silver (the Franklin Half, Washington Quarter and Roosevelt Dime are all 90% silver) and no visible imperfections.
