1925 US $20 Gold Coin (Double Eagle).

The "Saint Gaudens" Double Eagle is considered to be one of the most beautiful US coins ever designed. Minted from 1907 to 1933 the St. Gaudens is named after its designer, the sculptor Augustus St. Gaudens.

The modern US $50 Gold Eagle copied the Walking Liberty of the Saint Gaudens in it's design, a fitting tribute to the talent of St. Gaudens.

This coin has been graded MS62 by NGC, one of the country's premier coin grading services. There is some minor spotting on the surface of the coin that did not concern the NGC graders, probably from the copper alloy used with US gold coins.
