1923 US $20 Gold Coin (Double Eagle). US Double Eagles contain 0.9675 Troy oz of gold in a 22 karat alloy with copper.

The "Saint Gaudens" Double Eagle is considered to be one of the most beautiful US coins ever designed. Minted from 1907 to 1933 the St. Gaudens is named after its designer, the sculptor Augustus St. Gaudens.

The modern US $50 Gold Eagle copied the Walking Liberty of the Saint Gaudens in it's design, a fitting tribute to the talent of St. Gaudens.

These coins have good highlights, but issues with marks and dings that prevent them from grading MS. Fair grades would be AU 50-55.
