1881-S US Morgan Silver Dollar, graded MS-64 by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). The 1881 San Francisco Morgan is a "common date", and even with a MS-64 grading is very affordable.
The Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1904, but minting was suspended until 1921 as there were too many in circulation. It was then replaced by the Peace Dollar, which was itself discontinued after 1935.
