Product Description

1881-S US Morgan Silver Dollar in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition, taken from a single old bank roll. The 1881 San Francisco Morgan is a "common date", these coins would grade in the MS-62 or 63 range. All have bag marks, nothing major though.

The Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1904, but minting was suspended until 1921 as there were too many in circulation. It was then replaced by the Peace Dollar, which was itself discontinued after 1935.

The Morgan Dollar contains 0.7734 Troy Oz of silver (90% silver alloyed with 10% copper).
