Product Description

The Carson City Mint Morgans are the rarest and most desirable of the silver dollars. The 1879 mintage is one of the "key dates".

The Morgan Dollar was minted from 1878 to 1904, but minting was suspended until 1921 as there were too many in circulation. It was then replaced by the Peace Dollar, which was itself discontinued after 1935.

The Morgan Dollar contains 0.772 Troy Oz of silver (90% silver alloyed with 10% copper).
