Unusual and rare gold coin stuck in Turkey in the Islamic year 1277 Hijra (1860 on the Gregorian calender).

It features the toughra of Sultan Abd al-Aziz (b1830-d1876) who ruled the Ottoman Empire from 1861 to 1876.

The coin is in Almost Uncirculated condition, and weighs 7.23 grams, containing 0.2128 Troy oz of gold in a 22 karat alloy.
